This is the begining of one bigger project, which will end up with collection of five books of psalms. Here you can see the first two books of the serie. For the begining I chose the books no. 1 and no. 4.

 

Each book is illustrated by different technique, for the first one I chose a document ink, with wich I worked similarly as with aquarelle or water coloures. For the second book I chose combinated technique knows as cliche verre. I used oil coloures with which I paited on the glass tables and than I used them in place of the negative film and I developed the motives on the photographic paper (in traditional wet procedure).

Everything except of print is handmade. Books have hard case with paper-cloth cover with simple linear motive.
